SF Weekly's Mastermind Grant

I was selected as a finalist for the SF weekly Masterminds Grant. The competition was stiff. There were over 100 submissions, 12 finalists and 3 awards. And while I didn't win, I was honored to be included with such a strong group of artists. (oh yeah, and the nice lead image, full color image was nice too).

Next Wednesday is SF Weekly's Artopia, a one-night party of music, art, film, and fashion. Also exhibited are the ten finalists of the Masterminds Grant, which includes my work. Hopefully you can join me in celebrating the honor. The three winners of the grant will be announced that night!

(S)Edition: Prints As Activism opens Friday

A group show that I'm participating in, "(S)Edition: Prints As Activism" opens this Friday at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Arts in Grand Rapids, MI. the show was curated by Mark Pasquale, curator of Prints and Drawings at the Art Institute of Chicago.

My two-person show opens next week!
